Teacher’s Practice: A monthly class for teachers and experienced students. A space to come together in community and deepen teaching skills by exploring yoga practice and teachings. Sequences are purposefully crafted and include time for contemplation of yoga texts. The pace and difficulty of postures can vary depending on intention - options and variations are included. Sequences cover detail as well as flow; they also allow time and space for listening and discovery. Currently focusing on the Vijñāna Bhairava (click here for class mantras), this class integrates āsanas, prāṇayāma, meditation practice and yoga philosophy. Please bring any props that you may have for online classes.

Restorative: For everyone. A class for moving back into balance supporting nervous system health and well-being. This style of yoga enables a downshift of the nervous system into deep relaxation, which removes fatigue and rejuvenates. By consciously slowing down and grounding and utilising the support and comfort of bolsters and blankets, Restorative Yoga allows time and space to notice patterns of holding and release them through breath, awareness and presence. It supports better sleep, helps manage stress levels and can shift patterns of behaviour that can lead to illness. It serves as an indispensable component of modern yoga practice. You can also read 5 reasons to practice Restorative Yoga here.

Yoga: For everyone. A multi-faceted yoga practice that focuses on alignment and the finer details of āsana, breath and being. The pace of the practice is suitable for beginning students as well as experienced, and can vary including both detailed instruction and flowing aspects. Classes are designed to help release tension and support balance, and at times incorporate teachings from the yoga tradition to enrich the experience. Please bring any props that you may have for online classes.

Yoga and Restorative: For everyone. A multi-faceted yoga practice that spotlights the finer details of posture, breath and being. The pace of the practice is suitable for beginning students, as well as the more experienced. Classes vary weekly. Alongside postures, each practice may also include chanting, meditation and use of props. Sequences cover detail as well as flow; they also allow time and space for listening, stillness and discovery by including Restorative postures that support nervous system health. The practice is designed to deepen self-knowledge through embodied practice incorporating key teachings from the yoga tradition as a way to transform perception and enliven experience.
